OPERATIONS
The Gulfport CRTC’s Operational Training Infrastructure is comprised of three mission sets. Whether you are just passing through or operating from the CRTC, the sections with which you will interact for your flight line needs are under the Flight Line Operations Support. They include Airfield Management, Transient Alert, Aerospace Ground Equipment, Munitions, and Petroleum, Oils, and Lubricants.
Remember: When you operate from the CRTC, your unit has scheduling priority in the airspaces and training complexes!
Gulfport CRTC Air Combat Training System (ACTS) supports Air National Guard units across the country by providing instrumented ranges to hone Air-to-Air skills of the fighter community. Through our War Room, operators support the full spectrum of air combat training through datalink operations, exercise modeling and simulations, and threat system replication. This Blended Synthetic Training can be a combination of Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training inputs. Gulfport also offers Special Access Program Facility with Secure Video Teleconference and AIS to include a 40 seat conference room and two debrief rooms.
Over the last few years, the Shelby Air-to-Ground Range (Call sign Rattlesnake Range) has made great strides to improve target sets and expand weapons release parameters to offer more profiles and weapons to delivery options.
