Traffic Management Office and Materiel Management

Logistics Coordination and Scheduling 📦

The Gulfport CRTC facilitates the deployed training of Air National Guard (ANG) organizations by providing comprehensive options for shipping and receiving of equipment and materiel. To ensure the availability of desired training dates and logistics support, organizations must first coordinate with the Base Scheduling Office. Requests can be submitted via email at MS.CRTC.MSCRTC.Scheduling.org@us.af.mil, or by calling (228) 214-6142 (COMM) or 363-6142 (DSN).

Traffic Management Office (TMO) Requirements 🚛

The Traffic Management Office requires a minimum notice of ten business days from visiting organizations that require support for the receipt or shipment of equipment, materiel, or hazardous material (HAZMAT) certification. Regarding logistics funding, Gulfport CRTC does not cover shipping and receiving expenses for visiting units unless those costs are specifically identified in an approved Support Agreement (FS Form 7600A) and a Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) is on file with the Financial Management office. Additionally, units must provide their Transportation Accounting Code (TAC) or FedEx account authorization to TMO prior to arrival.

Line Hauling and Equipment Handling 🏗️

When line hauling equipment and materiel to the Gulfport CRTC, visiting organizations are responsible for providing their own qualified forklift operators as part of their Advanced Operational Node (ADVON) and Redeployment teams. The CRTC provides the infrastructure, but the organic manpower for loading and unloading operations must be provided by the training unit.

Materiel Management and Supply Restrictions 🛡️

Visiting organizations should plan to be self-sufficient regarding mission-essential supplies. Materiel Management (Base Supply) at Gulfport CRTC is unable to provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), administrative supplies, or general military supplies and equipment for visiting units. It is the responsibility of the deploying organization to ensure all necessary materiel is accounted for prior to arrival.
