Southern Strike 2019: Live-fire training

Soldiers with 2-20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) conduct live-fire training at the Camp Shelby shoothouse, January 21, 2019. The training gave members the opportunity to train on breaching and clearing an enemy-held house while using live ammunition. Southern Strike 2019 is a large-scale, joint multinational combat exercise that provides tactical level training for the full spectrum of conflict. It emphasizes air dominance, maritime operations, maritime air support, precision engagement, close air support, command and control, personnel recovery, aero medical evacuation, and combat medical support.
