Per AFI 32-7086 Hazardous Materials Management , para 3.4.1, all hazardous materials brought onto an installation requires authorization via the HMMP process driving the need to collect information from visiting units prior to a unit’s visit. If you are generating large quantities of refuse (landfill) a roll off container must be coordinated. Additionally, information must be provided regarding amount of hazardous materials used as a unit is leaving. Hazardous material usage includes but is not limited to oils/lubricants, sealants, paints, solvents, etc. Units must also provide actual hazardous materials usage at the end of the visit.
