   LIEUTENANT COLONEL WILLIAM D.  “COACH” HARWELL IV

Lt Col William D. Harwell IV serves as interim Commander, Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) at the Trent Lott National Guard Training Complex, Gulfport, MS. The CRTC is a Joint National Training Center that hosts conferences, career field training and provides over land and water, airspace and ranges, facilities, equipment and instrumentation to facilitate regionalized Joint Combat Air Force training, exercises and hosts warfighter conferences. The mission is to host wing level training, and provide facilities for the Mississippi National Guard and Mississippi Emergency Management Agency during natural disasters.

Chief Master Sergeant Michael A. Jamison is the NCOIC of Air Combat Training Systems (ACTS), Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) Gulfport, Mississippi.  He is responsible for the management of operations and maintenance of all aspects of air combat training at the Gulfport CRTC and across the Air National Guard (ANG).  CMSgt Jamison is also a subject matter expert for NGB/A3 and assists in procurement of assets for the ANG inventory for 23 Air Gunnery Ranges.  As the liaison for NGB/A3, CMSgt Jamison is responsible for writing ACTS performance work statements and has been an active board member of various source selection teams for contract award.

Base Civil Engineer

Major Thomas M. Brewer is the Base Civil Engineer, Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) Gulfport, Miss. The primary mission of the Gulfport CRTC is to host wing level readiness training for the Air National Guard and to provide facilities for Mississippi National Guard and Mississippi Emergency Management Agency led disaster response. The CRTC holds a certification as a Joint National Training Center emphasizing Special Operations Forces (SOF), Air Combat Training, Close Air Support (CAS), and Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR). Major Brewer has oversite of CRTC infrastructure maintenance and repair to include 35 military, civilian and state employees as well as 30 fire department employees.
